Discounts and Payments Camp fees are to be paid in full (including Church Vouchers) when registering. All checks should be made payable to MO UMC CAMPS, 3601 Amron Ct., Columbia, MO 65202. If your registration is postmarked by the Early Bird Deadline, you may pay the early bird price or choose to pay the entire fee and that difference go into a Camp Scholarship fund to help others attend camp. A pastor-approved Conference Voucher may be included as part of the full payment required. Conference Vouchers will not be given in the form of a reimbursement. In addition to the Early Bird discount, you may be eligible for a family discount when more than 1 child from the same household attends.
New in 2014 - The New Camper Discount! If you are a new camper, you can receive a $25 discount on your first camp registration (does not apply to family camps, parent/child camps or retreats).
The Sibling Discount applies when you have multiple children attending camp. It applies once per registration and is not applicable on Family camps. The discount is:
Cost of camp stretching your budget? Your church may help pay a part of the fee. Check with your Camp Contact person or your Pastor. Your district may have Campership Funds available. Check with
your District office. If you have tried your church and district office, the Camping and Retreat Ministries Office may be able to help. Call 1-888-271-1999 to see if Campership Funds are available.
What happens after I register my child? You will receive a confirmation letter from the
Camping and Retreat office. You willalso receive a packet prior to your camp date from the Event Director and/or Site Director, with information about what you will need to bring to camp.
Cancellations and Refunds If the event you have registered for is booked or
cancelled, we will help you select another event. If another selection will not work out, you
will receive a full refund. Cancellations must be done at least two weeks prior to the start of camp.
You will receive a refund of what you paid, minus a non-refundable $50 deposit fee. If you cancel after the two week cutoff, no refund and/or voucher credit will be issued. In the event of illness, accident or family emergency, call the camping office PRIOR to the first day of camp. No refunds or transfers will be made for those who fail to show up on opening day.
